Why that law school application might not be such a good idea after all

For those of you thinking about Law School, let me encourage you to read the excellent article “The Falling-Down Professions” at the NY Times site. Maybe it’s time to consider going to get that film school or MFA after all?

Bonus: Do yourself a favor and pick up Dan Pink’s excellent A Whole New Mind and consider the importance of (right-brain) skills in addition to all the left-brain stuff encouraged in your formal education, and think about the importance of creative, conceptual and empirical/quantitative skills over what your actual degree is in.
